You Chose Peace?
The moment you stop entertaining chaos, someone will call you the problem.
The noise is easy to draw in, but harder to drown out.
Distraction has never been easier. Neither has losing yourself in it.
It's easier to be distracted than to be focused in the world of today, until you realize something uncomfortable - that's the life you have chosen for yourself.
You choose to be occupied. To be “busy”. To chase things that satisfy you on the surface. But never feed your mind or spirit.
And because of that, you’re always left wanting more.
The cycle continues.
Feed me more nonsense.
Then something clicks.
You realize, “Say word I've been slacking and lacking, so let me lock back in now to what is actually good for me.”
So you make a different choice.
You choose peace.
You choose growth.
You choose positivity because you realize the version of life you were living over there doesn’t serve you anymore.
But now you're weird for choosing peace lol.
You're the weird one choosing yourself over people’s problems that were never yours to carry.
You're the one who decided to move different but now it's “why you moving different?” to everyone else.
If nothing changes, nothing changes.
So why not choose differently?
You chose peace, but now you have more problems.
You chose peace, but now you're a hater.
You chose peace, but now you're selfish.
Maybe so.
But I choose peace every time.
And I'll keep choosing peace to the day I RIP.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 – “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all”
